LAUP - Laser assisted uvula palatoplasty

Laser assisted uvula palatoplasty (LAUP) is a procedure for preventing snoring by removing soft tissue in the back of the throat, as well as the uvula. This allows more room for air to pass through, and stiffins the soft palate, so that it doesn't obstruct the airway.
